Fariba completed her Architectural training at the University of Science and Technology in Tehran, Iran in 1993. In Iran, she helped design and develop a 14 storey, five star hotel.
She moved to Canada in 1995 and began working at Future Shop as a Space Planner. After 10 years of dedication to the role, she moved on to work with Urban Design Group Architects as a Job Captain and in three years’ time, she had become a registered Architect in BC.
Specializing in commercial development, base building, and tenant improvements, she grew with the company, becoming an associate in three years, and a senior associate three years later.
In 2016, she was promoted to Vice President of UDGA, and was the go-to person when projects needed a helping hand through any of its phases. She now holds over 25 years of experience in Commercial Retail design and architecture, and has started her own architectural practice, since January of 2021.
